AUTOMATION OF THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM

Home 9 Announcements 9 AUTOMATION OF THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM

The National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) of Malawi was established by an Act of Parliament (CAP 53:05 of the Laws of Malawi) with the mandate of regulation, promotion and development of the construction industry in Malawi.  Among its many functions, the Council is mandated to register and monitor performance of all persons engaged in the construction industry.

In its effort to improve service delivery to its clients, the Council is in the process of automating its processes such as registration processes for construction firms and projects. The process will provide for online submission applications and project data, and automation of the existing data for all registered firms which is currently in manual form.

For effectiveness of the new system:

  1. All registered construction firms (contractors, consultants, construction materials manufacturers and suppliers) are requested to provide the Council with valid and working email addresses by 30th April 2019.
  2. All new applicants should include working email addresses which shall be indicated as registered emails.
  3. All communication, updates and trucking of member status will be done through registered email addresses

The Council is continuously improving its processes to enhance satisfactory service delivery to its clients.

The Council is looking forward to your usual support and collaboration in developing the Construction Industry in Malawi.
