The National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) was established by an Act of Parliament (Cap 53:05 of the Laws of Malawi) for the Regulation, Promotion and Development of the local construction industry in Malawi. The NCI Act empowers the Council to work with other parties to enhance the delivery of its mandate.

NCIC in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works established the Construction Sector Joint Consultative Group (CSJCG) in a bid to ensure effective coordination and implementation of the National Construction Industry Policy and other related policies, strategies, plans and programmes through a multifaceted approach.

NCIC in conjunction with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, now cordially invites all stakeholders in the construction industry to a 3rd Construction Sector Joint Consultative Group Meeting to be held as follows:

Dates:          28th to 29th July 2022

Venue:         Sunbird Capital Hotel, Lilongwe

Time:           08:30 Hours

The theme for the meeting is Quality Infrastructure delivery in the Construction Industry”

The Honorable Minister of Transport and Public Works Hon. Jacob Hara, MP will grace the occasion.
