The National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) held three stakeholder meetings in Mzuzu, Blantyre and Lilongwe. The meetings were on the 17th, 19th and 21st of June, respectively.

The aim of the stakeholder meetings was to keep stakeholders abreast on developments in the industry and get their views on the same. Among the issues that were brought to the attention of the stakeholders was the Draft Disability Policy for the Construction Industry, fraud and corruption prevention efforts, transparency and accountability, capacity building; as well as compliance and ethics for the industry.
