Sensitization on Automation of Registration System for construction industry players

Home 9 Announcements 9 Sensitization on Automation of Registration System for construction industry players

The National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) was established by an Act of Parliament (Cap. 53:05 of the Laws of Malawi) for the Regulation, Promotion and Development of the Construction in Malawi. In execution of its functions the Council undertakes a number of interventions, including registration f players in the construction industry in Malawi, in order to create an enabling environment for the operation and development of the construction industry.

The Council has been manually registering construction firms, consultants and material manufactures and suppliers since its establishment. The growth of the construction industry is making it more difficult for the Council to timely deliver registration services to its stakeholders using manual processes. This has compelled the Council to digitalize its Registration processes to enhance efficient service delivery to its stakeholders.

The Council is therefore is pleased to invite Project Managers, Contractors and Consultants, Professional Boards and Associations, prospective applicants and all stakeholders’ representatives to the sensitization workshops on Automation of the Registration System which will be held as follows:
